Brendan Hayes | Senior Product Technologist | Coles Group
Brendan has 30 years’ experience in the fresh produce sector, and is currently working in the Coles Fresh Produce Team as a Senior Product Technologist. Previously Brendan looked after Responsible Sourcing and Category Management. Brendan has been in Australia for nearly 10 years working with the grower base to improve Growing Standards, Food Safety, Environmental Impacts and Ethical issues that lead to better fresh produce for Australian consumers. Brendan is also a member of the HARPS team and the PMA ANZ Science and Technical Task Force and a Board Director for the FPSC.
Olivera Plavsic | Sensory and Quality Systems Technologist | Coles Group
Olivera joined Coles three years ago as a Quality Systems Technologist where she looked after various product assessment programs. The last 12 months Olivera has been working as Lead Specifications Technologist where she works with product technologist and suppliers to deliver the specifications quality aligned with brand guidelines and responsible sourcing commitments. Prior to joining Coles, Olivera worked in food manufacturing for over 20 years.
