Jennifer Crawford | Supplier and Audit Manager | Quality and Technical Standards | Coles
Jennifer is the Own Brand Supplier, Audit & Compliance Manager at Coles who’s responsibilities include managing the Coles Supplier Standards (both food and non-food) and the specialist Coles auditing team. In doing so Jennifer and her team help ensure Own Brand suppliers deliver the best products for their customers.
Jennifer has worked globally in a variety of roles within the food industry for over 30 years. Her diverse background has seen her in a wide range of roles: Meat Inspector, Microbiologist, Quality Manager, Product Technologist, Auditor and, the manager for an amazing team of Auditors. While Jennifer’s experience covers most of all major food groups, her particular passion lies with the meat and produce industries and in high risk foods. Jennifer is also a member of the HARPS (Harmonised Australian Retail Produce Standard) committee as well as the GFSI Local group for Australia and New Zealand.
Karissa Walker | Food Safety Auditor | Coles
Karissa has worked within the food industry for over 20 years in both Australia and UK. Her experience includes working at a fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturer in quality, environment and complaints management roles, at a state regulatory authority auditing and managing a team of auditors within the dairy industry, auditing of contract catering and support service sites including high risk facilities in the UK and most recently auditing to the CFMSR standard for Coles.
