This webinar will outline Coles Own Brand’s requirements for a No Deforestation supply chain for livestock and aquaculture feed by the end of December 2025. These requirements support Coles’ broader commitment for No Deforestation supply chains across Coles Own Brand high impact commodities, as well as our voluntary commitments under Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The first phase of this policy rollout will apply to fresh poultry meat (chicken, turkey & duck); farmed salmon & trout supply chains, with ingredients & other livestock commodities being included in following stages at a later date.

Melanie is the Sustainable Sourcing Manager for Agriculture in the Coles Own Brand Responsible Sourcing Team and has been working for Coles for over 6 years. She has worked in this team for over 4 years and is responsible for governance and policy development across a wide variety of agricultural commodities and animal welfare. Melanie previously worked in the Coles Meat Business Unit’s Livestock, Supply Chain & Own Brand Teams. Prior to beginning her career at Coles, Melanie completed her Bachelor of Agriculture at The University of Melbourne.
