Food Additives – An Overview of Regulatory Framework and Coles Policy
The webinar will present an overview of Food additives, including their classification, FSANZ risk assessment process, permitted additives and labelling requirements under the Food Standards Code. The webinar will also outline Coles internal policy and requirements regarding additive use. Additionally, the webinar will also briefly cover processing aids and labelling of plant extracts used to colour foods.

Mon is a Specification Technologist at Coles since 2024. She holds a PhD in Food Science and has previously worked as a Product Technologist at MSAC Solutions and as a Scientific Officer at FSANZ. Mon is currently pursuing a Certificate course in Packaging.
